#4. Vigilant Guardian / Emperor

One afternoon, while clearing clutter in
an upstairs closet, I discover a magic box.
The treasure within included Dad's navy
photos and Gramp's rodeo snapshots.

Gramps was notorious for sneaking us,
one by one, into rodeos on horseback.
Joining the brave participants behind
the chutes and corrals was such a treat.
It was like being in a wild west movie,
with bull-shitting cowboys and clowns.

In 2001, I moved back home to help Mom
with Dad's care, before he passed in 2006.
I savored the time spent with my Father,
listening to naval adventure tales while
I cut his hair and shaved his whiskers.
Vigilant Guardians, devoted to their
wives and their families, these patriarchs
taught me valuable life about how to
connect and ground my Soul in nature.

My Father's Grandmother Sarah, was a
Pioneer Woman who traveled across the
United States in a rustic covered wagon.
Embodying her genetic coding, in 1973
my inner-Pioneer Woman guided me to
Mexico, where I met my Son's Father. 
Both traveling Artists, we connected
and bonded while exploring paradigms
of education, art, culture and spirituality.
We were married in my Mother's garden,
among the almond blossoms in 1976.

The Vigilant Guardian archetype involves
creating divinely inspired Architecture.
During the war in Europe, Maria Montessori
created Casa dei Bambinis for the orphans.
When our son was born in 1977 the desire
to create a school for children was ignited.
In 1980 New Horizons Children's House 
became a dream manifested for Indigo 
Children needing a place to grow alive.

Son's father and I are no longer married,
yet we co-grandparent our two grandsons.
Eldest Grandson is also from an Indigo 
Wave of old, creative, warrior-like Souls.
He senses lies, seeks the truth, is curious
about science and video game strategies.
Musical like his Dad, he plays the cello.

Our Youngest Grandson is an active Soul 
who joined humanity as a Crystal Child.
He is a psychic, sensitive child who loves
animals, sports, people and skateboarding.
A gifted Peacemaker, he resolves conflict
with dramatic flair, is artistic and musical.

With the passage of time, I have relied
on my organized, nurturing inner-Female 
while caregiving my Father and Mother.
My inner-Male becomes active when I
am teaching in local schools and is very
protective of my Son and Grandchildren
who unfortunately also endured divorce.
Committed to their spirited education and
development, I'm a strong, support system.

As a Vigilant Guardian, I continue my
pioneering work in Movement, Expressive 
Arts Consulting and Holistic Education.  
Jump-starting my career, I am setting the
intention for attracting the right partners.
May my Art and Writing be disseminated
by the right individuals in perfect venues.

As cycles of my life unfold, I trust I will be
guided to the right home, studio space for
evolving my life, my creations and practice.

I Am the Architect of my own Life Plan.
