#19. Sun Dancer

The greenery in my living space is soaking 
up Sunlight, as it filters thru green sheers. 
Sunbeams illuminate the clutter on my 
Art table, revealing the need for sorting. 
A clock with the wrong time, sits upon
books and papers, demanding attention.

The absence of the tic and tock, remind 
me of the necessity of Sunlight for Life. 
I am gratitude for the Sun Rays providing 
Vitamin D, stimulating vital Serotonin. 
In our modern age, we're the first beings
to be struggling with a lack of Vitamin D. 

According to the Chinese I-Ching, the Sun
represents Divine Masculine energy, force.
Illuminating, magnetic Creative Source, it 
compliments a receptive, Dark Feminine.
The interplay of these primal forces spiral, 
giving birth to spirited Soul collaborations. 

Practicing meditation and visualization, 
the Mind's eye opens, to higher guidance. 
Visualizing Sunlight or watching reflections 
dance across water, can shift a foul mood.
Infusing Spiritual Intentions with the Sun
can yield abundance, with positive results. 

Ancient astrological symbols for Sun, 
represent the vitality of one's Identity. 
Depending on what House it arises in 
at time of Birth, it defines a Life Path. 
Sunlight soothes, warms, regenerates, 
inspires, motivates us to initiate action. 

Walking my dogs at Sunset, I am aware 
of filtered Light through rustling leaves. 
My inner-Creative's joy smiles outdoors, 
especially during the transition months. 
The Autumn Equinox Light is radiant,as
I offer gratitude for the Sun's blessings. 

Standing or sitting in Solitude, commune
with El Sol / Soul in Nature, and receive. 
Allow Sunlight to kiss your face and heart 
with warm healing, transforming energy. 
Open your third eye, crown, throat, belly, 
and move from Sadness to Acceptance. 

The benefits of Sun exposure can stabilize 
mood swings and lighten some depression. 
Be wise, listen to your body and mind and 
limit exposure to intense, harmful Sun rays.
Avoiding individuals who deplete and drain 
your vital energies, is a very wise practice. 

In a sacred place, where Bluffs meet Sea, 
a Great Golden Fire God, speaks to me. 
I pray Peace, as Sunlit waters kiss ferns, 
deep in a lush, enchanted, Fern Canyon. 
Inspired by solitude at Bold Bluffs Beach, 
a Song was born, honoring our Father Sun.
