#16. Towering Vortex / Tower

The Day began as every other day; 
Dawn arose, people had breakfast, 
drove to work, after dropping kids 
off at school, or began house work.
Birds sang, dogs barked, cats yawned. 

Then as choreographed, the horrific 
events of 9/11 unfolded, completely 
shocking and awakening a distracted, 
slumbering consciousness of our USA. 

The implications of this one event, 
challenged our belief systems and 
shattered all illusions of safety, our
trust in local and federal protection. 

A true Wake-Up-Call, this experience 
redefined a generations Personal and 
Collective Truth, shifting awareness, 
stimulating community involvement. 

All irrelevant, systems without true 
integrity, begin disintegrating, dying, 
resulting in feelings of vulnerable,
exposure, during a transformation. 

As a Snake shedding skin, the fabric  
of our ego's greatness, as individuals 
and a society,has been violently shed, 
leaving us questioning our realities. 

Each of us is now faced with personal 
initiations, as our outer environment 
starts to mirror inner- states of being, 
consciousness, now struggles to evolve.

Emerging from the "Valley of Death",
I am now faced with the fall out from 
the painful, destructive,"Earthquake" 
of my beloved Son's traumatic Divorce. 

All involved, including his two Children,
are struggling to find secure footing, on 
shaky, shifting, separating homelands, 
as priorities re-arrange familiar routines. 

Belief structures about Family, Marriage, 
Parenthood, Personal Health, Material 
Wealth, Security and Happiness are being 
re-examined, relationships are redefined. 

Life changing questions are being asked. 
Who are we becoming in relationship to 
each other? in relationship to our family, 
our workplaces and co-workers, ourselves?

New Pathways are bravely being forged. 
We are heading into unknown, undefined,  
unexplored, personal territories, tempting 
us, to surrender inner-strength to FEAR. 

As literal and metaphorical twin Towers 
are transformed into volcanic Vortexes, 
within the fire and smoldering ashes, the
true fabric of our FAITH is being tested. 

TRUSTING in ourselves first and then in 
each other's Personal Process takes so 
much Courage, patience, compassion, 
respect, hope, and unconditional love. 

Our open Hearts pray Divine Guidance, 
for the assistance to help us crawl out of 
the rubble of our mistakes, to forgive all 
that must be forgiven, to move forward. 

Angels and Arc Angels grant us peaceful 
Acceptance of what we cannot change, 
understanding of what we can change, 
and the wisdom to tell the difference. 

May all wounds within our Past be healed,
as we step up to the plate, to embody the 
Wisdom of our Ancestors with Integrity, 
knowing it is our Love that seeds eternity.

To the sounds of Freedom..

No longer lend your Strength,

To be Free from.. 

Fill your Lives
With Love and Bravery,
And you shall lead
